Introduction The Accreditation
Institute 2010 will be held at the Hyatt
Regency Newport Beach in Newport Beach,
CA on March 19-20, 2010. The
2010 Accreditation Institute will focus
on the core elements and issues that
need to be addressed as your college
undertakes the self-study process. As
an academic and professional matter,
the Academic Senate for California Community
Colleges recognizes that the campus community
works together to achieve a college's
mission to serve its students and to
support student learning. This year's
Institute will cover examples of robust
program reviews and program review processes
and budget and planning processes that
reflect assessment of student learning
and program review. How these issues
and concerns become part of the four
standards will be covered. Do you know
what it takes to reach the proficiency
level regarding Student Learning Outcomes
on the Accrediting Commission for Community
and Junior Colleges Rubric by 2012? Register
for the Institute and find out.
