Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," indicated much greater opposition than support for adding the Statistics Discipline:
Master's in statistics OR Bachelor's in statistics or applied mathematics AND Master's in mathematics or applied mathematics OR The equivalent; and
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," supports the following change in the Instructional Design/Technology Discipline:
Master's in instructional design/technology or educational technology OR The equivalent; and
Whereas, The Executive Committee of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges, having evaluated this evidence, supports the revision;
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," indicates greater support than opposition to the following change in the Humanities Discipline:
Master's in humanities OR The equivalent

Whereas, The Executive Committee of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges, having evaluated this evidence, supports the revision;
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," supports the following change in the Agriculture Discipline:
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," supports the following addition of the Biotechnology Discipline:
Bachelor's degree in the Biological Sciences or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Engineering, and two years of full-time related work experience; and
Whereas, The Executive Committee of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges, having evaluated this evidence, supports the addition;
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," indicates greater support than opposition for the following change in the Political Science Discipline:
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," indicated much greater opposition than support for revising the Mathematics Discipline:
Master's in mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics OR Bachelor's in mathematics or applied mathematics AND Master's in statistics, physics, or mathematics education OR The equivalent; and
Whereas, The discipline revision for veterinary technician was submitted through the normal discipline revision process and the only comment received from the field was a correction on the format of the proposal from the author, which was recorded at the hearing but not transmitted to the Executive Committee for consideration;
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," supports the following addition of the Speech Language Pathology Discipline:
Master's in Speech Pathology, Speech Language Pathology, Speech Language and Hearing Sciences, Communicative Disorders, Communicative Disorders and Sciences, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Education with a concentration in Speech Pathology, OR The equivalent; and
Whereas, Both written and oral testimony given through the consultation process used for the review of minimum qualifications for faculty in the California community colleges, known as the "Disciplines List," supported and opposed adding a new discipline to the non-Master's list called Commercial Dance; Add as a discipline in which a Master's degree is not generally expected or available. Any bachelor's degree and two years of experience, OR any associate degree and six years of experience.
