Area B

Area B encompasses 34 colleges centered around the San Francisco Bay Area. We have one area meeting each year before the fall and spring plenaries to go over and familiarize ourselves with the current resolutions, write amendments, and introduce our own resolutions from our areas. We also use these occasions to catch up on what is going on around the state and get to know each other. We will have our fall area meeting at Monterey Peninsula College October 29 and our spring area meeting at De Anza College March 25. Hope you can make them! We have several listservs designed to inform our local senate presidents, among them the senate president listserv and our Area B listserv. I will use that listserv to keep you apprised of developments that concern us around the state and for updates on our area activities. This listserv does not allow for interaction among our area constituents. We hope to provide this kind of functionality on our new website in the future.
