The Board adopted the changes to the Disciplines List at its January 2003meeting. The new list will be published and posted on the Chancellor's Office website.
Resolved, That the Academic Senate recommend that the Board of Governors adopt the following proposed change in the Disciplines List for Speech: Master's in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English OR The equivalent, and
Resolved, That the Academic Senate recommend that the Board of Governors adopt the following proposed change in the Disciplines List for Speech: Change Discipline title from Speech to Speech Communication.
