The Committee held a breakout at Spring 1999 Plenary Session to address this goal. The breakout featured faculty from Napa Valley College who presented the process by which they achieved a budget and planning process with meaningful faculty involvement.
Whereas the success of the geocluster system has been uneven in different regions, and
Whereas where the network works well, the benefits are substantial,
Resolved that the Academic Senate urge the Executive Committee to evaluate the geocluster system, including the possibility of using technology to facilitate the meetings.
