HOTEL RESERVATIONS
The Sheraton is located at 1380 Harbor Island Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. Please note that you must make your own reservations with the Sheraton by calling (877) 734-2726, and ask for the “Academic Senate Annual Fall Session” group rate no later than October 17, 2011. Room rate is $129/night (plus 12.565% tax) for single and for double occupancy rooms. (Tax rate subject to change.)
At this time, the room block at the Sheraton is sold out. If you are still looking for accommdations, please consider the following locations:

TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTIONS
For those flying to the session, the closest airport is San Diego International Airport. A complimentary airport shuttle runs every 25 - 30 minutes from the San Diego International Airport between the hours of 5:30am and 12am. Outside of these hours guests may request a pickup by phoning the Hotel directly. The shuttle vans are grey, blue and white. When arriving at the property, please request a drop off at the Bay Tower. PARKING
Self parking at the Sheraton is $19.00/day. However, there are cheaper Park and Fly lots, located near San Diego International, many with free shuttles to the Airport. The parking lot shuttles will take you to the airport terminal, and you can catch the hotel shuttle in the Ground Transportation area. We strongly suggest drive-in attendees use this option, however, please allow extra time for shuttle transfers. You may also visit this website for more long term and daily parking options. Please call the lots ahead of time.
Internet
Complimentary internet access is available in the hotel lobby through Sheraton@Link. Guests at the hotel may access the wireless using their room number. Guests not staying at the hotel may ask the front desk for a generic password for the day.
