Event Location: Santa Ana College (Phillips Hall and Dunlap Hall)| 1530 W 17th St, Santa Ana, CA 92706.

Parking: See Campus Map. Parking Lots 6 and 7 will be FREE of charge for SLO Symposium participants! All other parking lots the fee is $2.00 per car for 8 hours. Please follow the $$ on the campus map for Parking Permit Dispensers.

The 6th Annual Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) Symposium will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at Santa Ana College in the Phillips Hall and Dunlap Hall. Over 200 participants including faculty, SLO coordinators, researchers, administrators and research analysts are expected to attend. Breakout topics will address issues such as: Current ACCJC requirements on SLO assessment, SLO assessment data disaggregation, how to make SLO assessment consequential, building teams and faculty learning communities around SLOs, and Engaging students and faculty in meaningful SLO assessment processes are going to be among the topics discussed.

Sponsors will present the newest updates in their software programs designed to keep track of SLO assessments and student progress.

Registration

General Registration: $75

Presenter Registration: Waived - All presenters are required to register for the event. 

Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fees.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?
  • Payment is required prior to entering an Academic Senate event. Please call the Academic Senate with any payment questions at (916) 445-4753.

  • Please remember that the last day to cancel your registration without penalty is always posted at the bottom of each event's webpage, and is listed in each confirmation email. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to events [at] asccc.org (events[at]asccc[dot]org) on or before the posted date. Registration will not be canceled due to non-payment. All cancellations made after the posted cancellation date will be assessed a $75 cancellation fee.

  • Full Refunds will not be granted for cancellations after the posted cancellation deadline.

  • No shows, unclaimed "TBA" attendees, and cancellations made after the deadline will be billed to you and/or your college for the total cost of registration and room if applicable to the event. As attendees are permitted to register without funds, we have no way of determining cancellation unless specifically told, in writing.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure payment of the registration fee. Submission of your registration signifies agreement with this policy.

  • Unpaid balances owed to the Academic Senate must be paid off before an attendee can register for a future event.
