Join us for the ASCCC's third annual Part-time Faculty Institute on February 21 – 23, 2019, in partnership with 3CSN and with support of the Chancellor's Office. This institute is designed to support new and experienced part-time faculty. Whether you are hoping to become a full-time faculty or want to become a more effective faculty member and teacher, this institute will have something for everyone. This year's Institute will include topics on innovative pedagogy, campus involvement, leadership and equity, and the recruitment, hiring, and interview process. Thanks to the grant from 3CSN, ASCCC is able to offer complimentary registration to the Institute along with a two-night hotel stay on a first come first serve basis. Registration is limited, and the hotel rooms and "travel" scholarships will all be claimed.

You must secure your hotel reservations separate from event registration. See the registration and hotel & travel tab below.

FAQS

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Your registration is transferable, please contact the Senate Office in writing at events [at] asccc.org (events[at]asccc[dot]org.)

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

  • Submission of your registration signifies agreement with this policy.

  • Please remember that the last day to cancel your registration is February 1, 2019 without penalty and is always posted at the bottom of each event's webpage, and is listed in each confirmation email. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to events [at] asccc.org (events[at]asccc[dot]org) on or before the posted date. Registration will not be canceled due to non-payment. All cancellations made after the posted cancellation date will be assessed a $100.00 cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 working days prior to the event will be billed a $100.00 cancellation fee.

  • No shows, unclaimed "TBA" attendees, and cancellations made after the deadline will be billed a $100.00 cancellation fee to you and/or your college. As attendees are permitted to register without funds, we have no way of determining cancellation unless specifically told, in writing.

  • Unpaid balances owed to the Academic Senate must be paid off before an attendee can register for a future event.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
