Interested in learning more about the Disciplines List and Minimum Qualifications (MQs)? Did you know that California Community College faculty must meet statewide minimum qualifications in order to be hired in a specific discipline? The repository for these MQs is the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges Handbook which is revised and updated on a yearly basis. Come to learn about the ASCCC disciplines list review process and timelines for adding or changing disciplines in the system handbook. Bring your lunch and join members of the ASCCC Standards and Practices Committee as we will talk about the Disciplines List.
