Accountability

Whereas AB 1725 mandates the creation and implementation of a comprehensive community college accountability system, and

Whereas the measures of accountability may not reflect the success of vocational education programs,

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to work for the development of career resource and placement centers on each campus, and

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend that these career resource centers survey former students of career programs to ascertain their employment or transfer status and their satisfaction with their college preparation.
