Communicated to AACJC in above referenced testimony.The resolution was sent to all local senates. The President has sent updates to local senates not to participate in pilots, has sent out sample resolutions for consideration by local senates.
Whereas, There is considerable opposition to the proposed revision of the accreditation standards; and
Whereas, The use of the proposed revisions of accreditation standards on a trial basis implies endorsement of these standards;
Resolved, That the Academic Senate object to the use of the proposed revised standards in the current form (Draft A) on a trial basis;
Resolved, That the Academic Senate for California Community College surge local senates to oppose any attempts on their campuses to use the proposed revised standards in the current form (Draft A) on a trial basis.
