Adopt the paper Enrollment Management Revisited; recommend to local senates that the new paper be used as a supplement to, rather than as a replacement for, the earlier paper; recommend that local senates and faculty use this paper as a general guide to inform themselves about issues and options as they participate in the development and implementation of enrollment management policies and procedures at their colleges and districts.

Whereas, Resolution 13.04 adopted at the Fall 2007 Plenary Session asked the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges to "create a document that sets out the basic elements of a higher education institution, particularly within California's community college system"; and

Whereas, Because the purpose of the Futures Ad Hoc Committee of the Academic Senate is to provide a forum for discussions about new and emerging issues and trends regarding the California Community College System and its place within California higher education, it was charged with developing a paper in response to the resolution;

Resolved, That the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopt the paper California Community Colleges: Principles and Leadership in the Context of Higher Education.
