Brown Act Provisions

Resolved that the Academic Senate direct the Executive Committee to prepare a summary of Brown Act provisions as they relate to local senates, including recent Brown Act amendments and court cases and to present this information at a future session, and

Resolved that the Academic Senate inform local senates of their rights and responsibilities detailed in the revised Brown Act, and

Resolved that the Academic Senate urge local senates to work with their local Boards of Trustees to ensure compliance with the Brown Act.
