Whereas, The matriculation cuts in the Governor's Budget may lead to vulnerability of counseling positions; and
Whereas, Counseling faculty provide essential matriculation services that have direct impact on the success of our students;
Resolved, That the Academic Senate oppose the layoff of any counseling faculty as a result of matriculation budget cuts.
