Whereas the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopted resolution 1.5.0 S95, asking that the Senate elections rules and procedures be amended to allow Area Representatives to be elected directly by Area members, and
Whereas the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopted resolution 1.13.0 S95 asking that the Senate election rules and procedures be amended to allow North and South Representatives to be elected directly by their respective regions,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopt the proposed changes in the election rules and procedures to implement resolutions 1.13.0 S95 and 1.5.0 S95, calling for direct election of Area and North and South representatives by the respective areas and regions.
