Whereas the September 10, 1986, proposed final report of the Joint Legislative Committee for Review of the Master Plan for Higher Education makes reference to roles and responsibilities concerning collective bargaining and governance (#59) and governance (#77 and #80)
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges request that the Research Committee conduct a careful examination of the role of the Senate as delineated in EERA for the purpose of proposing possible amendments to define more clearly the Senate role in light of Master Plan Commission proposals.
