Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to expand community outreach and strengthen community ties by recommending that a limited number of honorary associate degrees be granted to outstanding individuals, and
Resolved that local academic senates be encouraged to participate in setting the standards and in playing an integral role in the selection of the recipients.
