Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to alert local senate presidents about the importance of their college IGETC policy and submissions, further informing them about their choices, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to support local senate presidents with appropriate resources (including expert advice) in their effort to develop their college philosophy and proposals on this important topic, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to take responsibility for continuing to coordinate the views of local colleges into a coherent statewide view for all community college faculty, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to devise new means to clearly communicate this community college view to the Intersegmental Committee of Academic Senates (ICAS).
