Implementation Issues

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge the Executive Committee of the Academic Senate to address the following issues with our CSU and UC colleagues before implementing the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum:

1. Whether all colleges within the University of California system will adopt IGETC, and

2. Whether the critical thinking/ English composition courses will be agreed to by all three systems, and

3. An equitable review process for approving courses submitted for IGETC, and

4. Other implementation issues.
