Job Placement

Whereas AB 1725 mandates accountability in promoting student success in community colleges, and

Whereas the Chancellor's Office is developing a system to provide data in several areas including students, courses, enrollments, outcomes, and so on, and

Whereas students should be considered successful through job placement ("job out") prior to completion of a degree or certificate or transfer,

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge that the Chancellor's Office include job placement, even prior to completion of a degree or certificate program, as a measure of the success of the educational program.
