Whereas equipment, facilities, staff, and materials are essential to the maintenance of quality instructional and support programs and to the development of students' study skills,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges ask the Chancellor to establish a categorical allocation to increase district expenditures for equipment, facilities, staff, and materials for libraries, media services, and learning resource centers.
