Whereas the Cerritos College Internet Gopher was funded with state money to provide access that would allow faculty and other community college staff to participate effectively in the consultation process, and
Whereas the Board of Governors minutes and Chancellor's Office consultation reports have not been updated in a timely manner, and
Whereas the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges is not listed as a consultation group in the community college information area files, thereby limiting faculty participation,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge the Chancellor's Office to maintain the Cerritos Internet server on a continuing basis, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage faculty to use the Modesto Junior College lnfoNet and the Cerritos Internet server on a regular basis to access statewide governance information.
