Title 5regulation revisions redefining faculty to include all faculty (instructional, counselors, library) was taken through the consultation process and approved by the Board of Governor in November1997.
Whereas there are many essential faculty who are nonclassroom faculty, including, but not limited to, counseling faculty, library faculty, media/technology specialist faculty, and many others,
Resolved that the Academic Senate direct the Executive Committee to study and make recommendations for consideration at a future session the possible inclusion of all faculty in the 75:25 ratio of full-time to part-time faculty under AB 1725.
