Whereas Chancellor Mertes has a consistent record of failure in following and facilitating his own consultation process,
Resolved that the Academic Senate declare a "no confidence" vote against Chancellor Mertes, and direct the Executive Committee to inform the Board of Governors of the "no confidence" vote, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate direct the Executive Committee to recommend that the Board of Governors to conduct a formal evaluation of the Chancellor which includes an evaluation from each Standing Council, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate direct the Executive Committee to recommend to the Board of Governors that a negative evaluation of the Chancellor should result in his termination.
