Resolved that in order to enhance the academic quality in our colleges, the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges support the following position: Credit/noncredit part-time faculty should be encouraged to take part in department and college affairs and compensation for such service be determined by negotiation through the bargaining agent when appropriate.
