Recognition of Edith Conn

Whereas, Edith Conn has been the longest serving member of the Executive Committee of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges, including a memorable year as the first woman president;

Whereas, Edith Conn's work and devotion to the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges is without parallel, with particular emphasis on student issues and the Great Teacher's Seminar; and

Whereas, Edith Conn's leadership in the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges continues to serve as an inspiration to academic senators throughout California community colleges;

Resolved, That the Academic Senate express its gratitude and affection for Edith Conn by granting her Senator Emeritus status. MSU Disposition: Local Senates
