Whereas the ability of the Chancellor's Office to perform its responsibilities effectively has been greatly reduced by reductions in funding and subsequently in staff,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to seek the formation of a task force with representation from all groups who regularly participate in the consultation process, to review the role, function, responsibility, staffing and budgeting of the Chancellor's Office, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge that this task force develop performance standards which may be used to establish service goals and make performance evaluations of this office possible.
