Whereas AB 1725 sets a 75/25, fulltime/part-time instruction ratio based on a district distribution, and
Whereas EC Section 84362 mandates that 50% of budgeted monies be spent on in-class instructor salaries also based on a district distribution, and
Whereas the intent of these laws addresses a concern for quality instruction for all California Community College students,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges support the position of holding colleges rather than districts accountable under the 50% law and the 75/25 full-time/part-time ratio regulations.
