Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges support the concept in proposed legislation to require the Governor to appoint a student to the Board of Governors from among nominees forwarded by the Council of Student Body Governments, such position to be parallel to the Governor`s appointing faculty to the Board of Governors from nominees forwarded by the Academic Senate.
