Title 5 - Professional Responsibility

Whereas the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges has consistently recognized curriculum review as a faculty responsibility, and

Whereas the Academic Senate in Fall 1986 advised local senates "to begin immediately to implement the curriculum process at their districts/colleges and encourage changes to bring curriculum in line with the changes stipulated in the proposed Title 5 regulations,"

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge that local senates encourage faculty to recognize curriculum review as part of their regular, ongoing professional responsibilities.
