Transfer General Education Courses

Whereas Introduction to Mass Communications, Journalism I, Telecommunications I, and related courses had long-term acceptance as transfer General Education courses and were apparently removed from the CSU Certification List without due consultation,

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Educational Policies Committee to investigate the process and rationale for the removal of Introduction to Mass Communications, Journalism I, Telecommunications I, and related courses from the CSU Certification List, and

Resolved that the Academic Senate Educational Policies Committee report to the 1987 Spring conference.
