We are thrilled to once again, to bring together nearly 600 student leaders from across the state for our Fall 2010 General Assembly. The Student Senate is recognized by the Board of Governors as the official representative of California’s Community College students and was established to promote student interests and the student voice across the state.
Hotel Information
The Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina is located at 1380 Harbor Island Dr, San Diego, CA 92101. Reservations can be made by calling (619) 238-2606. Rooms are $129.00 + tax/night for a single or double occupancy room. Additional guests in the room are $20 each per night. Please ask for the "Student Senate General Assembly" rate when making your reservation. Rates are available until 10/15/10 or until the block is sold out. Please book as soon as possible, as the block will sell out prior to the cut off date. General Assembly attendees will receive a $19.00 per day (or overnight) parking self parking rate at the hotel. However, there is a cheaper Park and Fly lot, located at 3298 Kettner Boulevard, with a free shuttle to the hotel near by. The shuttle will take you to the airport terminal, and you can catch the hotel shuttle in the Ground Transportation area. We strongly suggest drive-in attendees use this option, however, please allow extra time for shuttle transfers. You may also visit this website for more long term and daily parking options. Please call the lots ahead of time.
Travel Information
For those flying to the Assembly, the nearest airport is San Diego International Airport. A complimentary airport shuttle runs every 25 - 30 minutes from the San Diego International Airport between the hours of 5:30am and 12am. Outside of these hours guests may request a pickup by phoning the Hotel directly. The shuttle vans are grey, blue and white. When arriving at the property, please request to stop at the Marina Tower.
