In preparation for launching its own statewide OER initiative, the ASCCC is hosting weekly OER webinars on Fridays at 9:30am. Each of November's webinars will focus on the available OER resources for a specific discipline, with faculty sharing their OER-adoption experience. Each webinar is designed to provide information, share resources, and hear from you. All will be recorded for later viewing or use. Please share with interested parties.

OER Basics II – Friday, October 19, 9:30 – 10:30 am
A continued exploration of OER Basics. We will cover some search strategies for finding OER and have a quick primer on licensing and adopting/adapting OER. Participants will leave the webinar with some "go to" sites for finding OER and a basic understanding of different forms of copyright and licensing.
